This is a blog about my dream to purchase, renovate, and ultimately live in a vintage Airstream Trailer. This page will be dedicated to the adventures I encounter while trying to realize this dream. alright Matthew, i'll be the first to comment and ask a question. you have done some beautiful work. do you plan to trailer it or keep it stored on a piece of property and live in it? reason i'm asking is because the materials used in the re-do look heavy - beautiful, but add a lot of weight. i really like the glass tile backsplash. i have that same tile in my house!

My first comment! Thank you. For the moment, I will live on a property and take weekend and extended road trips. I'll discuss how I was able to keep weight down in a future post, but I can say that weight was and still is a major factor in many of the decisions regarding material choices and installation methods.
